Now that Tencent is releasing Foxmail 7, I decided to develop a little application that helps users to translate Foxmail into their language. It's true that it already exists another utility for translating this software, but it's now outdated. This new translation tool allows users to write UTF-8 characters into the translated file. Besides, it detects more strings than the old program used to.
Some features are:
- Added UTF-8 support for new language files.
- Possibility of loading several translated file to merge their strings.
- FoxTrans can load the Foxmail executable to search possible translations of the strings.
- Added "Find" function.

Ahora que Tencent está sacando versiones de Foxmail 7, me he decidido a desarrollar una pequeña aplicación que ayude a los usuarios a traducir Foxmail en sus idiomas. Es cierto que ya existe otra utilidad para traducir este software, pero se encuentra desactualizado. Esta nueva herramienta de traducción le permite al usuario escribir caracteres UTF-8 en el fichero traducido. Además, detecta más cadenas de texto que el programa anterior.
Algunas características suyas son:
- Añadido soporte UTF-8 para nuevos ficheros de lenguaje.
- Posibilidad de cargar varios archivos traducidos para combinar sus cadenas.
- FoxTrans puede cargar el ejecutable de Foxmail para buscar posibles traducciones de las cadenas.
- Añadida una función de búsqueda.

Pues realicé alrededor de un 75% de la traducción de la nueva versión, pero ando escaso de tiempo. Otro usuario (Diego A. Mendoza) me preguntó si podía el ayudar en la traducción, así que le envíe lo que tenía hasta el momento y él se encargará de la parte que queda.
Así que, en respuesta a tu pregunta, me encargaré a medias de la traducción, no en su totalidad.

As this is the first release of this program, it could contain some bugs, and I'd like them to be reported. Thank you.
Anyway, I've tested once more the program, and I haven't had any problem. Please, check that you've done these steps:
- Click on "Open original file..." and load the original Chinese language file.
- Click on a "Open translated file..." button, and load a translated language file, if you have it, or just ignore this step.
- Try to translate a couple of strings more.
- Save the file. When the program asks whether you want to save empty files, choose any option.
- The new saved file should contain the old translated strings (if you loaded a translated file) and your own translated strings.
If doing these steps, the saved file doesn't contain the proper strings, please, tell me what version of Foxmail are you using (the whole version number, like 7.0.1.82). I'd try to test the program by myself with that version.

2. I write my translation.
3. I save it. Only words which are written in the column "Translation" will be saved. If "Translation" is empty, it will only save the key and than nothing.
4. It never takes autom. the words of the column "Possible translation". (I take the options that FoxTrans take the english words).
I hope you can help me :)

I think that's the normal behaviour of the application. I'll try to do my best for trying to explain it.
FoxTrans will only save the strings from the column "Translation". The column "Possible translation" only shows the English translation of each string. By now, there is not an option to use strings in "Possible translation" into the "Translation" field.
Mmmm... when I read what you said at point 4, I think FoxTrans doesn't explain correctly what it really does. I meant that Foxmail (not FoxTrans) loads the English default strings if it doesn't find the "Chinese.lgb" file or if it doesn't find a string in the file. That last thing occurs when you choose not to save empty strings when saving a file: those strings will be shown in English. BUT FoxTrans will NOT save English strings in the saved file.
TIP: if you wanted Foxmail to be in English, then you just have to delete "Chinese.lgb" from main folder.
Mmmm... I could add an option in a future release of FoxTrans. It could copy the translation from the "Possible Translation" column to the "Translation" column.

Como creo que dije en un comentario anterior, la traducción de la nueva versión de Foxmail 7 no la estoy llevando a cabo yo personalmente. Se supone que otro usuario que se puso en contacto conmigo está haciéndola. Por tanto, me es imposible establecer una fecha de salida en estos momentos.
Conforme obtenga más noticias acerca del tema, lo iré haciendo saber a través de esta página.

Quizá pueda ocurrir porque no tienes seleccionada ninguna plantilla por defecto a la hora de responder/reenviar mensajes. También podría ocurrir que la plantilla que seleccionas esté en chino, y quizá por temas de la codificación del conjunto de caracteres no se muestre bien el mensaje.
Intenta lo siguiente: para responder un mensaje, en vez de darle al botón, dale a la pequeña flecha que tiene en su derecha para seleccionar una plantilla. Selecciona una que esté en español (como "Texto simple" o "HTML simple"). Comprueba si te sale el mensaje antiguo en esta ocasión.
